The following topics were discussed in the meeting & unanimously resolved:

  • A delegation of the BVHA will meet the Divisonal Commissioner of Agra within a week to discuss about the so called development in Vrindavan. Dr. Devendra Chaitanya Brahmachari will fix an appointment with the Commissioner and Shri Rajendra Agrawal will organise the conveyance for the delegation.

  • The Brajwasi Panda Sabha will coordinate with the Tourism department to train young and educated pandas to guide the temples and places of the religious importance in Braj – Vrindavan. No out side guides are accepted.

  • The temples, ashrams and other places of interest of Vrindavan will be motivated to put the history of that particular place in a sign board or scribed in stone out side the establishment.

  • The proposed ban on the business of peacock feathers by the MoEF has appreciated. A petition on controlling and relocating the monkeys to be signed and then to be sent to the authorities.

  • Endeavors will be made to get a site located for the crematorium. There has not been any permanent site for the cremation so far.

  • Any effort of cutting the Raman Reti trees for the road broadening will be opposed by the BVHA.

  • The next meeting will be held at Radha Shyam Sundar Mandir on 26th May 2010.
